SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – Police have identified the victim killed in Sunday morning’s rollover on I-15 in Salt Lake City
Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Andrew Battenfield said the accident happened just before 6 a.m. at the 900 South on-ramp to southbound I-15 when the woman lost control of her vehicle and struck a barricade, causing the car to roll onto it’s top.
The woman, 46-year-old Christine Zaragoza of Midvale, and the only occupant of the car, was ejected. She died at the scene.
Battenfield said the woman was not wearing a seatbelt.
The onramp will be closed for several hours as investigators determine the cause of the accident and other factors that may have contributed to the crash.
